- Over 13 years flight experience
- Student-centric approach
- Friendly, professional, knowledgeable Colorado flight instruction
- A passion for Rocky Mountain region aviation
I have been a private pilot since 2000. My initial flight training took place in the mountains around Kremmling, Colorado, where the spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Rocky Mountains reinforced my lifetime passion for aviation.
The remainder of my flight training took place at local Colorado flight schools in the Boulder area. I earned my instrument, single-engine and multi-engine commercial ratings at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, Erie Municipal Airport and Longmont Vance Brand Municipal Airport. I combined my local Colorado flight training with an American Flyers course in Dallas, Texas, to complete my Certified Flight Instructor (CFIA and CFII) ratings. I am also an experienced glider pilot.
I’m a full-time flight instructor with Vector Air. I can also instruct you in your aircraft at your location. I teach private and instrument students in a Cessna 172, commercial and complex students in a Cessna 172RG.
Having owned and operated a building company for 15 years in Summit and Boulder counties, I have the professional experience and a tried-and-tested, customer-centric approach to help you move toward your goals. Understanding how to relate to students and their needs allows me to provide the highest quality flight instruction at the greatest value.
I live in Louisville, Colorado, with my wife and two young boys. I volunteer my time and aircraft to fly missions for Angel Flight and Pilots N Paws. These charities help match either people who need air transportation or rescue animals who need transportation with pilots willing to donate their time and airplane.
